We will meet five times a year (March, May, July, September, and November) to discuss a book with the option to keep the conversation going online.


World Poetry Day

Step Outside Your Reading Comfort Zone With a Reading Challenge

Every year I try to do a reading challenge by tackling a list of books I normally wouldn’t read. I always end up reading something I never would have picked up. March is National Reading Month. It’s also the month that we celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Thus the first reading challenge - to read a children’s book you have never read before. It could be a classic you never got around to - “The Wind in the Willows” or “Hatchet.” You could try something new like “The First Rule of Punk."

C.S. Lewis book discussion series: "The Silver Chair"

Starting Tuesday, March 5, and running through Tuesday, April 9, this six week reading and discussion series focuses on C.S. Lewis' "The Silver Chair," and will include two to three chapters per week. Led by Randy Edwards from Grace Presbyterian Church, the discussion group meets at noon in the conference room of the Paddison Memorial Branch.
