GETTING STARTED WITH THE LIBRARY

Important to Remember About Using Your Card

The following are key things to know about beginning to use your card:

  • If this is your first library card it will be issued to you as a temporary card, which still offers you many services including the opportunity to checkout up to two physical items. It will be updated to a full card once you bring in the mailed card to any of our locations.
  • For using some of our online resources and public access computers, a four digit pin is required. Get a Pin.
  • Notify the Library immediately (336.703.2665) if your card is lost or misplaced so it can be deactivated. Caution: you will be responsible for items/fines/fees that accumulate on your card until the loss is reported. Replacement cards are available at any of our locations.
