Fall Book Sale at the Lewisville Branch October 11-13

The Friends of the Lewisville Library Fall Book Sale starts on Thursday, Oct. 11 with Friends' Night from 6 - 8 p.m. Current members of the Friends get first chance at the thousands of books on sale. Membership forms will be available at the door, and current members may also renew their dues.

On Friday, Oct. 12, the book sale is from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. Hardcover books are $2.00 and paperbacks are $1.00.

Saturday, Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is $5 Bag Day. Fill a bag and only pay $5.

All proceeds from the book sale go to the Friends, who use the money to support Lewisville Branch Library in many wonderful ways--providing new books, audiobooks, DVDs, library supplies and other much-needed items. This year, the Friends supported our Summer Reading programs with special guests, craft supplies, and snacks. Last fall, they purchased 2 computers for our Teen area so that our teens have their own space for after-school work. We are grateful to the Friends for their hard work and dedication and we appreciate our community, who donate books and come to our Book Sales. Thank You!
