What is in Season in November
Fruits and vegetables pack a nutritional punch with an abundance of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and fiber. They are naturally low in calories. When you purchase items in-season, especially those grown locally, you get optimal freshness, nutrition and taste.
During the cold and flu season, it is important to eat a healthy diet including a variety of fruits and veggies for optimal health and immune system function. Hand washing and healthy diets are two key ways to prevent common illnesses like colds and flu.
