Free Christmas Music Concert at Walkertown

Jazz Classique will perform their unique blend of classical and jazz in a Christmas concert at Walkertown Branch Library on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 1 p.m. Musical selections will include classical works by composers such as Bach, Heinichen and Poulenc as well as traditional Christmas standards.


Downloadables at Walkertown Branch Cancelled Dec. 27

The Bookmobile and Storytime at Hanes Mall

This month we will be reading holiday stories on Thursday, December 19, at 10 a.m. Then come aboard the bookmobile for a holiday themed craft. Cocoa for Carols

Come celebrate the season while spreading holiday spirit with the Adult Outreach Program during an afternoon of giving and sharing. This occasion is set to benefit the homeless population of Winston-Salem with a program consisting of musical performances, an arrangement of refreshments, as well as hygiene donations.

Mixed Doubles: Tandem Lectures on Unrelated Topics for the Terminally Curious

Mixed Doubles is a playful series that brings together two experts from disparate disciplines in the Triad for an exchange of ideas, demonstrations and more. It's the perfect cure for the winter doldrums.

Mixed Doubles kicks off on Wednesday, Jan. 8 in the Central Library auditorium from 6-7 p.m. for a discussion on punk rock and French cooking and continues with three more sessions at Central Library before it moves to the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art.
