We miss all of our customers and look forward to welcoming you back to our libraries soon. Our bookmobile will be coming to a community near you at the end of May. See the schedule below.

There are still plenty of chances to learn, as we ourselves are learning the best way to reopen safely. To help us get our inventory in order, please continue returning your overdue materials beginning May 15. We won't charge any fines at this time.


Join Senergy Book Club on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom

Senergy Book Club will have a virtual discussion of "My Brother's Keeper" with special guest, author ReShonda Tate Billingsley, on Tuesday, June 2, at 6:30 p.m. using Zoom. The author tells a story that will touch every reader's heart. It is humorous and yet pulls at your heartstrings.


To-Go Library Service Hours

To-Go Library Pickup service is available Monday-Friday, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. All 10 library branches will be closed on the weekend until further notice.


Forsyth County Hires Brian Hart as Director of the Public Library System

Brian Hart has been chosen as the director of the Forsyth County Public Library system and will start on May 4. Hart is currently the deputy director for the Greensboro Public Library system. He succeeds Sylvia Sprinkle-Hamlin, who retired on December 30, 2019, after 40 years of service.

Do you need some fresh books to read? Go online or call 336-703-2910 and place some titles on hold. If you need some suggestions, ask our staff for some titles or a few surprises, and some good reads will be selected for you. Once materials are pulled from shelves or reach the branch you will be notified.


How to get tax forms and instructions

Finding tax forms and publications may seem difficult, and even more challenging now that the library is closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) are closed to the public. However, there are still easy ways to get tax forms. Here are some options for obtaining IRS federal and North Carolina tax forms and publications.
