Explore Careers in Conservation

Make an informed choice if you want to work managing our natural resources, protecting our environment, and increasing sustainability. Cameron Younts, a representative from N.C. State University's College of Natural Resources, and Jerry Dorsett, Soil and Water Conservationist with the Forsyth Soil and Water Conservation District, will be presenting virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, March 24 at 6 p.m. For more information, email Esmirna Esparza (esparze2@forsyth.cc).

2021 Reading Challenge at Lewisville

Your library challenges you to read a variety of books throughout the year. Complete the reading challenge, which encourages readers to step into a wide variety of stories and genres. Forms are available at the Lewisville Branch or you can click the webstory for a printable copy. When you finish, please submit your form to the Lewisville Branch Library by Friday, Dec. 10 to be entered in the drawing for a $25 Barnes & Noble gift card. The winner will be announced Monday, Dec. 13. Good luck.

Cupcake Decorating Contest Judging

We had a cupcake decorating contest from Feb. 1- 17. Who made the best sweet creation? You get to be the judge! Choose your favorite here from Feb. 23 - 28. A winner will be announced on March 1. The winner will receive a gift certificate from Dewey's Bakery. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lewisville Library.
