Blood Drive at Walkertown

Mr. Blood Drop is visiting Walkertown again! Red Cross Bloodmobile will be parked in the public parking lot at the library. To make an appointment, contact the Library. Walk-ins are also welcome. Delicious snacks will be available for participants of the Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, November 19, noon - 4:30 p.m. at the Walkertown Branch library.

Tai Chi on the Lawn - Free Class Every Friday at Walkertown

The Walkertown Branch Library resumes the adult beginner tai chi class in an outdoor variation, every Friday at 10 a.m. The class will meet on the library lawn, and everyone will be asked to wear a mask and maintain social distance. Tai Chi is a low impact exercise that has many benefits, including decreased stress and improved balance. Please join instructor Mark Fleming for an hour of tai chi “play” that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Call to register!


Hay Bale Decorating Fun at Walkertown Branch Library

Walkertown's own Hofeling family put up a hay bale display at Walkertown Branch Library. The display is part of the Forsyth County 4-H Competition this Fall.
