Synopsis and Discussion
Air quality levels are in the YELLOW range as high temperatures push into the mid 90s Thursday afternoon. Westerly winds are coming down the Appalachian mountains and not only heating up but limiting thunderstorm production as well. There are a few popping up in the region but chances are low for today. More of the same will be in place for Friday and the weekend as highs reach into the mid to upper 90s and winds remain out of the west. AQI readings will hold in the YELLOW range throughout the forecast period. (Bodenhamer)
